A paramedical examination comprises of a personal interview in order to collect information about your medical history. This interview can be over the phone or done in-person at the time of your examination.

The information you provide allows the insurance company to conduct a thorough evaluation of your present health.

The examination usually includes a recording of height, weight, blood pressure and pulse. The examination also includes the collection of blood, urine, oral fluid, and an electrocardiogram (EKG) depending on the insurance company’s guidelines.
